EPass Sign‑up And Renewal For 2017

Dalhousie University is proud to provide for the 5th year running the discounted Employee Bus Pass Program. The SmartTrip program, which is a partnership between Dalhousie and Halifax Transit provides a 25% discount on all pass types.

The EPass program has one sign-up and renewal period a year, and membership runs for a calendar year. If you are interested in receiving or renewing your EPass membership this process will take place in November.

Current EPass/LinkPass holders: 

All current pass holders will have to fill out a renewal form and receive a 2017 sticker for their pass to be valid in 2017. This can be done through inter-departmental mail, at your request through an email to rethink@dal.ca, you must provide a valid Dalhousie address. Alternatively, you can visit the Central Services Building, Floor 5 room 512 on November 21-25 between 1:00 and 5:00 pm.

Leaving the Program: 

Current pass holders who no longer wish to participate in the EPass program for the 2017 calendar year will be able to opt-out. In order for deductions to stop, pass holders must return their EPass/LinkPass to the Office of Sustainability. Please let us know by December 10, you must return your pass before Friday, January 4, 2017. Passes can be returned to the Office of Sustainability through interdepartmental mail, by mail, or in person. Please e-mail rethink@dal.ca if you are returning your pass.

New sign-ups: 

To sign-up, please visit the Office of Sustainability at the Central Services Building, 1236 Henry Street, in room 511 on November 15, 2015 between 9 am and 5 pm, to fill out an enrolment form and have your photo taken. If you cannot make this time, please make alternative arrangements with the Office of Sustainability (rethink@dal.ca).  Before signing up, please read all program details found on our website: http://www.dal.ca/dept/sustainability/smart-trip/transit/transit-passes.html

To be eligible to take part in this program you must be a Dalhousie permanent employee (full-time and part-time), full time grant paid, post-docs, or an associated employee. No casual employees will be able to participate. All employees must be paid directly through Dalhousie payroll and be employed until the end of December 2017.
