Today is the first day of Dalhousie's United Way Campaign. This year’s campaign will run from October 11–31 across all four Dal campuses. Together, we’re aiming to raise $160,000 to help create lasting change in our community.

Rather than an in-person event, we’ve created a video that highlights just some of the many people on campus who help make the Dalhousie United Way campaign a reality. We hope you’ll watch it — and share it with your colleagues and friends to help spread the word about this year’s campaign with the hashtag #DalUnited.

During the campaign period, faculties, departments and units will be hosting events to raise awareness about the United Way and ask for your support. Our United Way events calendar can be found online at dal.ca/unitedway, and will be updated regularly throughout the month.

Every year, Dalhousie employees show their commitment to the communities where we work and live by supporting the United Way. By giving to United Way, we connect people to the resources they need to succeed.
