The Halifax Regional Municipality is asking organizations across the peninsula to help combat increased rodent activity.  The Department of Facilities Management will be servicing outdoor garbage boxes more frequently – twice a day. Everyone on campus can do their part by sorting their waste appropriately and putting all food waste in compost bins instead of garbage cans.

Information on proper waste sorting can be found in the Dalhousie Guide to Waste Management.  If you see an outdoor garbage boxthat needs to be serviced please let Facilities Management know by calling 3345 on the Halifax campuses, and (902) 893-4638 on the AC.
