Planned power outage June 26 for Studley and Carlton Campuses

Posted by Facilities on May 6, 2016 in Facilities Management

There will be no power on Studley and Carlton campuses for 24 to 26 hours from Sunday morning, June 26 to Monday morning, June 27, 2016. This is to perform much needed maintenance on a transformer that brings power to Dalhousie. Facilities Management has determined that this date will enable the maintenance and cause the least disruption to campus activities:

Power Outage - Sunday, June 26 for 24 to 26 hours

(from 1 a.m. Sunday June 26 to 3 a.m. Monday June 27)

Most buildings will have either complete backup power, or backup power for essential services. In some cases, access to buildings will be restricted for safety. There has been direct communication with Building Administrators and key personnel in all affected buildings. There will be much more communication about this in the weeks to come.

For a complete list of buildings and how they are affected please visit this webpage.
