Department: Political Science

Pay Rate: As per CUPE Contract

Work Assignment:

This part-time academic will be required to teach the Fall and Winter term September 6, 2016– April 10, 2017 of POLI 1103.06, Introduction to Government and Politics. The class is currently scheduled for Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:35 a.m. - 12:25 p.m. This is the department’s dedicated writing class section of its first year offerings. The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation and evaluation. The position reports to the Chair of the department.

Requirements:

Previous university-level teaching in undergraduate classes in political science. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in teaching first-year classes.

The position reports to the Chair of the Department.

Requirements:

Preference will be given to applicants with a PhD, or nearly completed PhD, in Political Science. Previous university-level teaching on this topic will be an asset.
