POSITION #1: Part-Time Academic, Winter Term, 2016/2017 Academic Year
WORK ASSIGNMENT: The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for a second-year class, Developmental Psychology (PSYO 2090.03), in the Winter Term. The class will be offered on TR from 0835-0955, and the anticipated class size will be approximately 150-175 students. The successful applicant will be responsible for all lecture and test preparations, exam administration (including supplemental examinations), and must be available for two hours per week for student consultation. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Applicants must have a graduate degree in Psychology, demonstrated teaching effectiveness, and have previous experience teaching the class material.
POSITION #2: Part-Time Academic, Fall Term, 2016/2017 Academic Year
WORK ASSIGNMENT: The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for a second-year class, Perceptual Processes (PSYO/NESC 2150.03), in the Fall Term. The class will be offered on MWF from 1235-1325, and the anticipated class size will be approximately 150 students. The instructor will be responsible for all lectures, test preparation, exam administration (including supplemental examinations), and must be available for two hours per week for student consultation. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Applicants must have a graduate degree in Psychology or Neuroscience, demonstrated teaching effectiveness, and have previous experience teaching the class material.
POSITION #3: Part-Time Academic, Fall Term, 2016/2017 Academic Year
WORK ASSIGNMENT: The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for a third-year class, Social Cognition (PSYO 3084.03), in the Fall term. The class will be offered on TR from 1305-1425, and the anticipated class size will be approximately 50 students. The successful applicant will be responsible for all lecture and test preparations, exam administration (including supplemental examinations), and must be available for two hours per week for student consultation. A 90-hr Marker is provided for this class. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.

POSITION #4: Part-Time Academic, Fall Term, 2016/2017 Academic Year
WORK ASSIGNMENT: The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for a third-year class, Early Development (PSYO 3092.03), in the Fall Term. The class will be offered on MWF from 1235-1325, and the anticipated class size will be approximately 80 students. The successful applicant will be responsible for all lecture and test preparations, exam administration (including supplemental examinations), and must be available for two hours per week for student consultation. Teaching assistance is available for this class. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.

POSITION #5: Part-Time Academic, Fall Term, 2016/2017 Academic Year
WORK ASSIGNMENT: The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for a third-year class, Development of Language and Literacy Abilities (PSYO 3093.03), in the Fall Term. The class will be offered on MW from 1435-1555, and the anticipated class size will be approximately 50 students. The successful applicant will be responsible for all lecture and test preparations, exam administration (including supplemental examinations), and must be available for two hours per week for student consultation. Teaching assistance is available for this class. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Applicants must have a graduate degree in Psychology or a related discipline, demonstrated teaching effectiveness, a background of psycholinguistic training appropriate to the material taught in this class, and previous experience teaching this class material.
POSITION #6: Part-Time Academic, Winter Term, 2016/2017 Academic Year
WORK ASSIGNMENT: The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for a third-year class, The Science of Sleep (PSYO/NESC 3264.03), in the Winter term. The class will be offered on MWF from 1235-1325, and the anticipated class size will be approximately 80 students. The successful applicant will be responsible for all lecture and exam preparations and marking, exam administration (including supplemental examinations), and must be available for two hours per week for student consultation. Teaching assistance is available for this class. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.

POSITION #7: Part-Time Academic, Fall Term, 2016/2017 Academic Year
WORK ASSIGNMENT: The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for a third-year class, Behavioural Neuroscience (PSYO/NESC 3770.03) in the Fall term. The class will tentatively be offered on MW from 1435-1555, and the anticipated class size of approximately 80 students. The successful applicant will be responsible for all lectures, test preparation, exam administration (including supplemental examinations), and must be available for two hours per week for student consultation. Teaching assistance is available for this class. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.

POSITION #8: Part-Time Academic, Fall Term, 2016/2017 Academic Year
WORK ASSIGNMENT: The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for a fourth-year Honours seminar, Topics in Developmental Psychology (PSYO 4092.03), in the Fall Term. The class will be offered on Thursdays, from 0935-1125, and the anticipated class size will be 12 students. The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for organizing and conducting seminar sessions, and marking seminar submissions of students, and must be available for two hours per week for student consultation. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.
