As a part of the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence, LGen Roméo Dallaire (Ret'd) will be hosting a ScribbleLive conversation. The event will discuss ending the use and recruitment of child soldiers through a security sector approach.
The Roméo Dallaire Child Soldiers Initiative team recently returned from South Sudan, where about 16,000 child soldiers are currently used and more are being recruited.
You will get the chance to ask your questions to LGen Dallaire about the work of the Dallaire Initiative and their unique security sector approach that focuses on preventing the use and recruitment of child soldiers and how this can apply to contexts such as South Sudan.
