Dalhousie community comes together to support the Dalhousie Student Refugee Fund

Posted by Communications and Marketing on December 4, 2015 in General Announcements

The Dalhousie Student Refugee Fund (DalSRF) has reached its goal of raising $24,000 to increase student refugee placements offered at Dal through its partnership with World Services of Canada. The Dalhousie Faculty Association (DFA) generously donated $5000 to the fund, which brought the campaign into the home stretch. The DFA has a long standing history of supporting WUSC and their contribution will go a long way in supporting student refugees at Dal.

The Dalhousie Student Refugee Fund campaign has reached its initial goal, but the University isn’t stopping! The University will match every dollar raised by the campaign, which closes on Dec. 17.
