Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor of Business Government Affairs

The Rowe School of Business invites applications for a three-year limited-term appointment in Business Government Affairs at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor, commencing January 1, 2015, with a full-time equivalency of 50%. Applicants must have a PhD in a related field, and preference will be given to those with previous experience in the public service or in industry. Those with expertise in academic program development and delivery will be given preference. Previous experience in teaching business-government relations is required, as is evidence of satisfactory teaching performance at the post-secondary level.

The successful candidate's primary responsibilities will be to work with a team of faculty to develop and deliver the Business Government Affairs stream of the Corporate Residency MBA program. The candidate will work closely with a variety of people including students and senior administrators. The preferred candidate will have a demonstrated capacity to establish relationships between a university and business and government leaders, and to help create experiential learning opportunities in business, non-profit, and government environments that benefit both students and the partner organizations.

The Rowe School of Business is part of the Faculty of Management, which has a unique commitment to values-based management and interdisciplinary research and learning. Thus, the successful candidate will have opportunities to work with like-minded colleagues in the sister Schools of Public Administration, Information Management, and Resource and Environmental Studies within the Faculty.
