HALIFAX SmartTrip and Dalhousie University are offering the reduced‑cost HALIFAX Transit employee pass (EPASS) program continuing for the calendar year 2016

Current Epass/LinkPass holders: 

All current pass holders will have to receive a 2016 sticker and fill out a new Halifax application form/survey for their pass to be valid in 2016. This can be done through inter-departmental mail, at your request through an email to rethink@dal.ca, you must provide a valid Dalhousie address. Alternatively, you can visit the Central Services Building, Floor 5 room 512 on Wednesdays and Thursdays, Nov 15 to Dec 13 from 2pm - 5pm to pick up your 2016 sticker and fill-out your form.

Opt-out: 

Current pass holders who no longer wish to participate in the Epass program for the 2016 calendar year will be able to opt-out. In order for deductions to stop, passholders must return their Epass/LinkPass to the Office of Sustainability. Please let us know by December 13, and you must return your pass before Friday, January 8, 2016 before 4 pm. If you do not return your pass we will assume that you are a participating member and payroll will continue deductions. Passes can be returned to the Office of Sustainability through interdepartmental mail, by mail, or in person at the Central Services Building, 1236 Henry St., P.O. Box 15000, B3H 4R2; fifth floor room 512. Please e-mail rethink@dal.ca if you are returning your pass.

New sign-ups: 

We will be signing up new participants in the program for the 2016 calendar year. Before signing up, please read all program details found on our website: http://www.dal.ca/dept/sustainability/smart-trip/transit/transit-passes.html To sign-up, please visit the Office of Sustainability at the address above in room 511 on November 25, 2015 between 1 and 5 pm, to have your photo taken for your card, and to fill out the application form. If you cannot make this time, please make alternative arrangements with the Office of Sustainability (rethink@dal.ca).
