The Teaching Assistant Enrichment Program (TAEP) is a one-year flexible teaching development program for Dalhousie graduate students. TAEP includes workshops, teaching exercises, reflection on teaching and learning, and recognition of a participant’s work towards the development of teaching. The Program offers participants experience, knowledge, concepts and skills that they can apply to their current teaching assistantships.
Participants must complete 4 components to complete the Teaching Assistant Enrichment Program:
1. Critical Reflection and Teaching Identity Development
2. Professional Development
3. Teaching Observation
4. Microteaching Sessions and Feedback
