The Couples and Sexual Health Lab at Dalhousie University wants to hear from you if you are a woman ( or the partner of a woman) between the ages of 18 and 45 who suffers from painful vaginal intercourse/penetration in a romantic, and sexually active relationship.
Eligible couples will be invited to participate in one or both studies:
• Daily Goals in Couples
• A Comparison of Couple Therapy and Medical Treatment
Eligibility screening for both studies includes:
• A brief telephone questionnaire.
• Couples will come to our laboratory at Dalhousie University to complete an interview and background questionnaires.
• Women with pain will undergo a diagnostic gynecological exam
• Ability to attend sessions in Halifax is required
**Financial compensation will be provided.
