Position: Sessional Lecturer – 2015

Department of Engineering

(Aboriginal Health Sciences Success Program)

Pay Rate: $4681 to $5724 (inclusive of vacation pay)

Work Assignment: This sessional lecturer will teach a section of MTHA0050, Functions for the period of the Fall 2015 semester. The class will be limited to Aboriginal students who are enrolled in the Aboriginal Health Sciences Success Program. The sessional lecturer will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation and evaluation. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.

Requirements: M.Sc. with experience teaching pre-university or lower-division math, Phd preferred. At least one year experience of teaching in a postsecondary educational institution. Experience working with Aboriginal students or communities is preferred. Excellent oral, written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
