POSITION: Part-Time Academic for section 02 of ERTH 1080.03 – Geology I for the fall term of 2015/16. This course runs from September 10th to December 8th; section 02 is scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:05 pm to 2:25 pm.

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Department of Earth Sciences, Halifax Campus

PAY RATE: In accordance with CUPE Agreement Local 3912

WORK ASSIGNMENT: The instructor will be responsible for the delivery of lecture course content, for holding office hours and for evaluation of students. Detailed class description is available in the Department and in the Dalhousie Calendar (www.dal.ca). The instructor will work closely with the first year co-ordinator and the lab instructor during planning, development, and delivery of the course to ensure alignment between the different sections and the labs of ERTH 1080.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Graduate degree or ABD in Geology or Earth Sciences with relevant expertise and teaching experience.
