Nature and Our Health: How our natural environment can improve how we feel, what we do, and who we are

This 60-minute session will cover a range of evidence – psychological, physiological and sociological – that demonstrates how being in and around nature is beneficial to our mental and physical health; encourages positive interpersonal and community relationships; and fosters environmental stewardship and sustainable behaviours. Discussion will focus on how this research can impact the environments that we live and work in and broader institutional and community-level implications.
