POSITION: Sessional Lecturer, HSCE 2000.03- Health Care Ethics
(Summer 2015 ~ May 4th - Jul 31st)
PAY RATE: In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement.

WORK ASSIGNMENT:
NOTE: This course is taught exclusively via distance learning using Dalhousie’s web-based Blackboard Learn platform.
As the instructor of record for HSCE 2000, an introductory course in health care ethics, the responsibilities of the sessional lecturer will include development of course materials, course delivery, teaching, and administration of the course. Topics include: moral theory and principles and ethical issues in health care. The maximum enrolment for this class is 60 students.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Knowledge of health care system and previous teaching experience desired. A master’s degree is required (a master’s degree in ethics is an asset). Experience with BLS or equivalent is considered an asset.
