The Writing Centre offers monthly seminars developed to help students grow in understanding of writing at university. With a better understanding of documents and practices, students should be able to write class assignments with more confidence and competence. Please encourage your students to attend. All seminars are held in room 2616 of the Killam from 5:00-6:00 p.m.

In March the following seminars are scheduled:
Intellectual Property Issues – Tuesday, March 17
The seminar explores writing practices that enable students to integrate primary and secondary material into their academic work.
Writing Critical Reflections – Wednesday, March 18
Learn how to write a critical reflection – one that incorporates personal experiences, disciplinary lens, and professional practice.
Incorporating Resource Material and Citing Appropriately
Thursday, March 19
In this seminar, you will get experience integrating resource material into your academic papers.
Note: If students are unable to attend seminars due to scheduling conflicts, they may make an appointment for an individual session.
