NEW TOOLS for ETHICAL PRACTICE in an ERA of FISCAL RESTRAINT

ONLINE SEMINAR with MERLINDA WEINBERG, PhD | MARCH 9 - 15, 2015

Do you experience a struggle between what you think it is right for you to do as a helping professional and what you feel able to do given fiscal constraints? Do you worry about whether you are delivering service users the best, given the intense pace of your work, extensive documentation, and pressure on efficiencies? Do you find the codes of ethics insufficient support to resolve the dilemmas that arise?

Dr. Merlinda Weinberg, Dalhousie University School of Social Work Assistant Professor, brings a fresh and distinctive approach that enriches and shifts students' and practitioners' notions of what constitutes ethical practice. This workshop -- the first in our Faculty Seminar Series -- will explain the context of these stressors and offer strategies to
overcome the challenges.
