April 29 and 30, 2015 at the Kenneth C. Rowe Management Building
This year the conference theme is: The Significance of Community Engagement for Student Learning
Community-engaged learning can be defined along a broad spectrum of work-integrated learning and internship/practicum/co-op education through to community service learning, whether local or global. Everyone involved in community-engaged learning is impacted when students, faculty and community come together to support teaching and learning processes, in with and for community. Our hope is to spark conversation and to facilitate the sharing of evidence-based practices and authentic experiences so we can learn from one another about the myriad possibilities and partnerships that can enrich and deepen student learning.
We invite proposals for papers, workshops, panels, and interactive sessions. Individual submissions are welcome. Joint submissions involving community organizations, practitioners, faculty, staff and students, are highly encouraged.
