Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Employment Insurance (EI) contributions will recommence in January 2015 for those faculty and staff who reached the maximum Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Employment Insurance (EI) contribution levels at some time in 2014.

For the 2015 tax year the maximum contribution levels are $2,479.95 based on an annual maximum salary of $53,500.00 for CPP and $1,302.84 based on an annual maximum salary of $49,500.00 for EI.
