POSITION: PART-TIME OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY INSTRUCTORS: 2015     
       
January 5 - June 26, 2015  (3 sessions X 8 weeks):
These  positions  will be responsible for tutoring groups of 2-3 students in the following courses:
OCCU 6111 Fieldwork III (1 position, 40 hours)
OCCU 6111 Fieldwork IV (1 position, 40 hours)
OCCU 5222 Fieldwork I (1 position, 40 hours)
PAY RATE: According to the CUPE Collective Agreement
 
WORK ASSIGNMENT: Under the guidance of the Course Professor the Instructor will tutor and evaluate a group of students using problem and case-based learning in Occupational Therapy.   The Instructor may be required to attend different on-site locations on alternative days with advanced notice. Off-site preparation, marking and/or office hours may also be required. Instructors are required to attend orientation sessions prior to the academic term (to be scheduled).
 
REQUIREMENTS: BSc(OT) with excellent communication and  organizational skills; preference given to applicants with a minimum of two years experience supervising students in a clinical setting. Individual must have experience in health promotion and injury prevention. Current registration as a licensed occupational therapist required.
