Position: Sessional Instructor

Work Assignment:

PUAD 6300 – Alternative Program Delivery (Wednesdays - 11:30 - 2:30 pm)

The Sessional Instructor will be responsible for a half credit course in the area of Alternative Program Delivery with the School of Public Administration. The Instructor will be responsible for all aspects of the teaching and administration of the class and be available for two hours per week outside class times for student consultations. The candidate reports to the Director of the School.

Requirement of Position:

A Masters Degree in a related field and recent or current experience at the executive level within government departments is required. A preference will be given to candidates who hold a Ph.D. in the area of Public Administration. Previous university-level teaching at the Master’s level is required as is demonstrated teaching effectiveness at the Master’s level. Preference will also be given to applicants who hold or have recently held positions at the executive level within government departments and to persons with experience in Alternative Program Delivery.

A Masters Degree in public administration or a related field and recent or current experience at the executive level within government departments is required. A Masters Degree in a related field and recent or current experience at the executive level within government departments is required with experience in Strategic Financial Management. A preference will be given to candidates who hold a Ph.D. in the area of Public Administration. Previous university-level teaching at the Master’s level is required as is demonstrated teaching effectiveness at the Master’s level. Demonstrated teaching effectiveness in Strategic Financial Management is required. An accounting designation is an asset.

The candidate reports to the Director of the School.

A Masters Degree in a related field and recent or current experience at the senior executive level within government departments is required. Previous university-level teaching at the Master’s level is required as is demonstrated teaching effectiveness at the Master’s level. Demonstrated teaching effectiveness in Applied Economics is required
