POSITION:    Teaching Assistant (TA130). January – April, 2015
2 positions

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION:    Department of Psychology and Neuroscience,
Life Sciences Centre

PAY RATE:    $2,795 (one term, 130 hours), as per the CUPE
Collective Agreement    

WORK ASSIGNMENT:    The Teaching Assistant will assist with Psychology 3502.03W (Statistical Methods II).

Duties include, but are not limited to:

1)    Assisting with student assessment (marking).

2)    Assisting with student queries.

3)    Assisting during classes and tutorials providing students with "hands-on" experience with computational statistics and using R.


REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:    Psychology graduate student preferred, having some experience/facility with statistics, and a great deal of patience. Some experience with R would be an asset.
