Join us for a sneak peek of the LeMarchant Mixed‑Use Building

Posted by Communications and Marketing / President's Office on August 25, 2014 in General Announcements

The Dal community is invited to a sneak peek of the LeMarchant Mixed-Use Building on Wednesday, August 27 at noon, in advance of its official opening.

Located within the main corridor of Studley campus, the top five floors of the LeMarchant Mixed-Use Building provide much needed residence accommodations for our students. The first two floors act as a hub for a variety of student services, including the International Centre, Health Services, Counseling Services, Welcome Centre and Recruitment Office, and Student Health Promotion. The new building places these key services in one central location, in close proximity to the students who use them.

The LeMarchant Mixed-Use Building also demonstrates Dalhousie’s ongoing commitment to innovative green building and is a LEED GOLD candidate.

Representatives from DSRA Architecture, as well as Dalhousie's Office of Sustainability and Student Services, will be in attendance. Building tours will be held every 30 minutes between 12.30 and 2 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
