Position: Part-Time Academic
Department/Location: School of Information Management
Pay Rate: In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement
The Sessional Instructor will teach Information Management Systems (INFO 5590) in the MLIS program during the 2014 Fall term. The course is scheduled for one 3 hour period per week, September – December 2014.
Requirements of the Position:
MLIS degree, preferred, and experience in information systems. Prior teaching experience will be an asset.
The Instructor reports to the Director of the School. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Responsibility for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation and evaluation; availability for two hours per week for consultation with students. A syllabus for the course is available.
