As part of Dalhousie’s preventative maintenance program, an inspection and testing of electrical vaults will be carried out resulting in an electrical power outage and temporary building closure for the Chemistry and Macdonald Buildings.
The outage is scheduled for Saturday, July 19th, beginning at 7:00 AM and is expected to last approximately 6 to 8 hours. Both buildings will be closed for the duration and for an additional 2 hours following the outage for proper ventilation. Buildings are expected to reopen by 5:00 PM.
