PART-TIME ACADEMIC POSTING

POSITION: Part-Time Academic for section 02 of ERTH 1080.03 – Geology I for the fall term of 2014/15. This course runs from September 4th to December 2nd; section 02 is scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Department of Earth Sciences, Halifax Campus
PAY RATE: In accordance with CUPE Agreement Local 3912
WORK ASSIGNMENT: The instructor will be responsible for the delivery of lecture course content, for holding office hours and for evaluation of students. Detailed class description is available in the Department and in the Dalhousie Calendar (www.dal.ca). The instructor will work closely with the first year co-ordinator and the lab instructor during planning, development, and delivery of the course to ensure alignment between the different sections and the labs of ERTH 1080.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Graduate degree or ABD in Geology or Earth Sciences with relevant expertise and teaching experience.

POSITION: Part-Time Academic for ERTH/GEOG 1030.03 - Introduction to Physical Geography for the 2014/2015 winter term. The course runs from January 5th, 2015 to April 10th, 2015 and the lecture section is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 10:00 am.
