Dal's daffodils campaign: The most successful in NS!

Posted by Human Resources on April 15, 2014 in Kudos

Congrats to all involved in Dalhousie's daffodils campaign in support of the Canadian Cancer Society --  and thanks to all who donated to the campaign.

Your daffodil purchases raised $6,845 for the Canadian Cancer Society - a 30 per cent increase from last year's total. Dalhousie ended up with the largest workplace order in all of Nova Scotia - an impressive show of support from our community!

In total, $5,905 was raised between Studley and Carleton campuses, with $460 raised at Sexton Campus and $480 at the Agricultural Campus.

This huge success would not have been possible without the generosity and effort of the campaign volunteers. A huge thank-you goes to:

- Maya Churbaji (Campaign Coordinator)
- Linda Seamone (Sexton Campus Coordinator)
- Amanda LeBlanc (Truro Campus Coordinator)
- Ryan McNutt (Communication Advisor)
- Florence Millard (VP FA)
- Liz Publicover (HR Champion)
- Jennifer Dooks (HR)
- Joanne Martin (HR)
- Christine Day (HR)
- Megan McInnis (HR)
- Darlene Risk (HR)
- Ashley Lorette (HR)
- David Weir (ITS)

A big thank-you also goes to Jackie King and Jim Fanning in Financial Services who kept the money safely locked while we ran the campaign.
