Spatial Scholarship at Dalhousie ‑ Survey

Hello!

We are conducting a survey to identify opportunities for growth in spatial scholarship at Dalhousie University. By spatial scholarship we mean the discovery, analysis, explanation, exploration, and integration of spatial theory, concepts, applications, analysis (such as the use of GIS software, etc.), and visualization in teaching, research, administrative duties, and collaborative and extra-curricular activities. With this survey we are looking to explore the breadth and depth of spatial scholarship at Dalhousie, to elicit ideas about spatial scholarship, and to generate information on who is doing what at the university. This survey is distributed to Dalhousie faculty and academic staff with teaching and research roles. The survey will take anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes to complete depending on how much spatial scholarship permeates the respondent’s activities. A more detailed explanation can be found in the survey itself.
