Dalhousie's Halifax campuses experienced a brief power disruption at 4 a.m. this morning which resulted in both Central Heating Plant boilers shutting down. The boilers are now back online under generator power and are up to normal operating pressure. We will be switching back to grid power shortly.
While the boilers were down many of the campus HVAC systems also shut down. If will take a few hours for our staff to get all of the systems back up and running.
Many buildings will be a bit chilly this morning, but it will only be temporary.
