Employee and Organizational Development at Dalhousie University is pleased to offer its Certificate in Supervision program. This series of workshops offered March 20th to May 14th (8.5 days total class time over 9 weeks) is designed for supervisors and managers who want to gain a deeper understanding of their role and further develop their skills and capacity to lead others. It provides a balance between introducing the theory necessary for understanding the emerging role of supervisor and developing practical skills required for being effective within it.

•    Respectful Workplace (0.5 d, May 1st – am)
•    Fair and Equitable Hiring (0.5 d, May 1st – pm)
•    Managing Conflict (1 d, May 7th)   
•    Employee Engagement and Motivation & Program wrap-up (0.5 d, May 14th - am)
    
NOTE: Workshops may also be taken individually without having to participate in the full program.
