POSITION: Part-Time Academics required to teach the following classes during the academic year, 2014/2015
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Department of Physics and Atmospheric Science, Sir James Dunn Building
PAY RATE: as per CUPE, Local 3912 Collective Agreement
WORK ASSIGNMENTS:
Fall Term 2014/2015 (September 1, 2014 - December 31, 2014)
1. PHYC 1450X Astronomy and The Evolving Universe
2. PHYC 2451 Astronomy
Winter Term 2014/2015 (January 1, 2015 - April 30, 2015)
1. PHYC 1450Y Astronomy: The Evolving Universe
Duties include full responsibility for teaching. Reasonable office hours should be available to the students. All positions report to the Chair of the Department of Physics and Atmospheric Science.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: MSc required, PhD preferred in the area of physics, expertise in relevant area, and teaching experience at the university level.
