External Review of Program Proposal for a Doctorate in Epidemiology and Applied Health Research

The Department of Community Health & Epidemiology has submitted a program proposal for a Doctorate in Epidemiology and Applied Health Research. As part of the MPHEC-mandated approval process for new graduate program proposals, the External Reviewer, Nancy Mayo, PhD (McGill University) will be on campus for her site visit December 2nd & 3rd. Faculty, staff and students, in particular from the Faculties of Medicine and Health Professions, are encouraged to participate in the site visit. Meetings for groups (faculty, staff and students) from these and other Faculties can be scheduled. Individual appointments can also be arranged to meet with the External Reviewer. Unless otherwise requested, and subject to overall demand, individual meetings with the External Reviewer will be scheduled for 15 minutes. To arrange a meeting with the External Reviewer, please contact Tina Bowdridge, either by email at tina.bowdridge@dal.ca or by telephone at 494-3575.

Alternatively, written submissions are particularly welcome from those unable to attend. Such submissions should be addressed to the External Reviewer for the Program Proposal for a Doctorate in Epidemiology and Applied Health Research and either emailed or forwarded in confidence to Tina Bowdridge no later than Friday, November 29, 2013.
