DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: History of Science and Technology Programme

PAY RATE and HOURS: matches CUPE agreement at Dalhousie                                                  

WORK ASSIGNMENT: marking and conducting tutorials in HSTC 3611: “Brewing Science. Includes attending the lecture and meeting with students.

CLASS TIME:  Wednesdays, 5:35-8:25 p.m.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

This is a winter term lecture/tutorial class in the history and culture of beer and brewing, especially how it rates to the development of our ideas of nature, society and science. . We are looking for a dynamic Teaching Assistant, keen on co-developing the structure of the course and with, hopefully, some experience in cultural history, or history of science, or philosophy of science (and, of course, an interest in beer and brewing).
