The Rowe School of Business, Dalhousie University, invites applications for a probationary tenure-track, tenure-track or tenured appointment in Statistics and Operations Management at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (dependent on qualifications and experience) commencing January 1, 2014 (negotiable). Applicants should have a PhD (or be ABD) in Operations Management or a related discipline. Depending on rank, applicants should show potential for excellence in research, or have a proven record of research excellence. Evidence of teaching effectiveness is essential. Candidates must be able to meet the School’s accrediting body’s (AACSB) academic qualification requirements.

The successful applicant’s primary responsibilities will include maintaining an active research program, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and contributing to the academic life of the School. Applicants in all research areas of Operations Management are encouraged to apply; experience teaching and researching Supply Chain Management will be considered an asset.

The Rowe School of Business is part of the Faculty of Management, which has a unique commitment to values-based management and inter-disciplinary research and learning. Thus, the successful candidate will have opportunities to work with like-minded colleagues in the sister Schools of Public Administration, Information Management, and Resource and Environmental Studies within the Faculty.
