» Go to news mainNew SEM and accessary equipment available in the Scientific Imaging Suite
Funded by NSERC, a Zeiss 1455VP Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) with Windows 7 operating system and SmartSEM V05.05 SEM operating software has recently been installed in the Scientific Imaging Suite in the basement of the Department of Biology. For biological and other non-conductive material and sample preparation, a new Leica Critical Point Dryer (Model: CPD 300) and a new Leica Sputter Coating System (Model: ACE200) have also been equipped. Both SEM and these items of accessary equipment are now available to all Dalhousie community and external users.
