General Announcements
This month, Today@Dal marked its first anniversary. Thank you to all our long-time readers as well as the hundreds of new ones we've gained in the past year. We'll keep working hard to keep you informed about what's happening on campus.
We can only do so with your help. Nearly all of the content and feature ideas for Today@Dal comes from you, so here's how you can contribute this fall:
- Community highlights: We're looking for short stories (or story ideas) about our faculty/staff communities at Dal. Is your department, faculty or unit planning something cool and exciting? Do you know a faculty or staff member who has an interesting side-project or interest? A Dal unsung hero? Pitch us a story or write a short piece yourself and send it our way.
- Campus events: The Dal Events Calendar is entirely community generated, so if you're planning an event this fall, submit it!
- Media highlights: We try and keep a close eye out for when Dal people are in the news, but if you see something we've missed that's noteworthy, let us know.
- Kudos: Has someone in your area earned a major recognition from outside the university? Send it in — we love to share these!
You can submit Today@Dal items or your ideas via our online form. For events, please submit them to the Dal Events Calendar.
Here's to a great September!
