Electrical tie‑in scheduled for LeMarchant Street Mixed‑Use Building

Posted by Facilities Management on August 2, 2013 in Facilities Management

In order to tie-in electrical services for the new LeMarchant Street Mixed Use Building, an electrical service shutdown is required for a small part of Studley Campus, between August 13th and 15th. There will be no loss of electrical service during this time - a 400W temporary electrical generator will provide electrical service to any buildings/facilities affected by the shutdown.

Buildings/facilities that will be supported by generator during this shutdown are:

· Studley Gym
· Wickwire Field (lights)
· LeMarchant Street Mixed Use project site

This sound attenuated generator (also known as a “whisper” generator) will be located beside Studley Gym, between the LeMarchant Mixed Use Building and the Grad House.

Building Administrators: It is not expected that buildings/facilities affected by the shutdown will be impacted in any way. However, if you notice anything abnormal during the shutdown (7:00 am on Tuesday, August 13 until 3:00 am on Thursday, August 15), please contact your Zone Supervisor or Security Services (494-6400).

If you have any further questions or concerns regarding this shutdown, please advise all of the contacts listed at the end of this message via email, as soon as possible:
