Position: Part-time Academic, Fall term 2013-14
Department: Political Science
Pay Rate: As per CUPE Contract
Work Assignment: This part-time academic will teach the fall term September 5, 2013 – December 3, 2013 of POLI 2210.03, Unity and Diversity: The dynamics of Canadian Federalism. The class is currently scheduled for Monday and Wednesday 18:35-19:55. The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation and evaluation. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.
Requirements: A Master’s Degree in Political Science or a related field is required. Preference will be given to applicants with a Ph.D., or nearly completed Ph.D., in Political Science. Demonstrated teaching effectiveness in Political Science is required.

The class is currently scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday 13:05-14:25. The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation and evaluation. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.
Requirements: A Ph.D., or nearly completed Ph.D., in Political Science is required. Demonstrated teaching effectiveness in Political Science is required.

Requirements: A Ph.D. in Political Science is required. Previous university-level teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level is considered an asset. Demonstrated teaching effectiveness is required.
