POSITION:        Part-Time Academic

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION:  International Development Studies

PAY RATE:  As per CUPE Collective Agreement

WORK ASSIGNMENT:  INTD 3010.03 Seminar in Development Studies:  Sport & Development. The part-time academic is responsible for all aspects of teaching, grading and administration of the class and in addition is to be available for two hours per week outside of class times for student consultation. The classes are offered during the winter semester on Monday’s, 09:35 to 12:25. The part-time academic reports to the Chair of the department.
 
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Ph.D. in International Development Studies or closely related field.  Research and teaching experience in the relationship between sport and development.  Previous teaching experience preferred.
