Improv‑ing Your Way to Wellness: A Comedy Workshop with Brian MacQuarrie

Posted by Human Resources on April 15, 2013 in Human Resources

May 7, 14, 21, and 28, 2013
12:15 - 1:15 p.m. each day
Room 224, Student Union Building

This unique 4-part program for faculty, staff and students creates a stage where participants can make no mistakes and every member embraces the gifts they bring. The improvisers can let go of their anxieties, fears and worries of “doing something wrong” or “looking stupid,” and fully feel as though they are “doing right” and can ignore their self-conscious inhibitions. Mix this with positive reinforcement and you build healthy self-esteem.
