Research Assistant: Teaching with Technology project

POSITION: Research Assistant for project investigating the capacity of the SUST 2001 role-play simulation to enhance student learning
SALARY: $17/hour. 10 hours per week for 5 months (plus CPP and EI)
JOB DESCRIPTION: This Research Assistant will be attached to an ongoing project investigating the effectiveness of the SUST 2001 role-play simulation as a teaching tool that enhances student learning. The RA will support the Principal Investigators in all areas of the project, including data management, conducting literature reviews, preparation of conference presentations, and results writing. The RA will be attached to the project on a part-time basis, starting in early April 2013 and continuing through to the end of August 2013.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: The successful applicant will be a senior undergraduate or graduate student with strong research, organization and communication skills. A background in academic literatures related to experiential learning and/or environmental governance is an advantage. Familiarity with SPSS software is also a plus.
