Work Assignment:
The Sessional Instructor will teach Organization of Information (INFO 5515) in the MLIS program during the 2013 Fall term. The course is scheduled for one 3 hour period per week, September – December 2013.

INFO 5515 – Organization of Information

Requirements of the Position:

MLIS degree and significant employment experience in organization of information. Prior teaching experience will be an asset.

The Instructor reports to the Director of the School. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Responsibility for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation and evaluation; availability for two hours per week for consultation with students. A syllabus for the course is available.

The Sessional Instructor will teach the elective Geospatial Information Management course (INFO 6681) in the MLIS program during the 2013 Fall term. The course is scheduled for one 3 hour period per week, September – December 2013.

Requirements of the Position:
MLIS degree; knowledge of Geospatial Information Management. Prior teaching experience is required. Publication record in Geospatial Information Management or a cognate area will be helpful.

The part-time academic will teach the elective Managing Information Literacy Instruction (INFO 6810) in the MLIS program during the 2013 Fall term. The course is scheduled for one 3 hour period per week, September – December 2013.
