POSITION: One-half Time Sessional Instructor; Principles of Biology Part II (Biology 1011); March 11, to April 9, 2013

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Biology

PAY RATE: $4,565.50-$5,583 (to be prorated)

WORK ASSIGNMENT: The sessional instructor is responsible for the ecology section of the lectures during the term and an end-of-term review, assisting students on an individual basis, general administration of the classes (handling student issues, submitting grades, etc.) and invigilating tests and examinations. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: All applicants for this position will have an advanced degree in biology. Previous, recent teaching experience in the related discipline and demonstrated ability to lecture to a large class (500+) of undergraduate students would be a definite asset. First time applicants must provide the names of two referees.
