Kudos: Karen Mann receives the Duncan Graham Award from the Royal Colelge of Physicians and Surgeons

Kudos to Dr. Karen Mann, professor emeritus in the Division of Medical Education, Dalhousie Medical School, for being among the recipients recognized this year by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She received the Duncan Graham Award. Her citation:

Dr. Mann is a truly global leader in the field of medical education. Throughout her career, she has taught, developed and implemented innovative and effective programs across Canada and internationally. An award-winning teacher and researcher, Dr. Mann is currently advancing medical education at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Harvard Medical School in Boston, Mass. and the University of Manchester in Manchester, U.K.

The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada is the national, not-for-profit organization that oversees the medical education of specialists in Canada by setting high standards for postgraduate medical education and continuing professional development. In collaboration with health organizations and government agencies, the Royal College also plays a role in developing sound health policy in Canada.
