» Go to news mainMedia Highlight: Dal Student Union inspires "Puppypalooza" online
It began with a simple poster shared on Facebook and became a phenomenon that's reached major magazines, newspapers and blog sites around the world.
Perhaps it's the idea itself, or maybe just the appeal of the phrase "Puppy Room" (though the dogs themselves will be fully grown, given the stress that being in the presence of large crowds of university students could bring). But whatever the reason, the DSU's initiative to provide a room with dogs for students to visit this week, in partnership with Therapeutic Paws of Canada, has generated a wide array of attention.
The Puppy Room is open today from 3-5, tomorrow from 1-3 and Thursday from 10-3. For full details, check out the Dalhousie Student Union's Facebook Page.
