POSITIONS: Winter Teaching Assistants (January to April 2013)

HPRO 2255: Drugs and Drug Education (TA 110)
HPRO 4495: Health Promotion Internship (TA 65)
LEIS 4597: Recreation Internship (TA 65)

DEPARTMENT: School of Health and Human Performance

PAY RATE: In accordance with Agreement between Dalhousie University and Canadian Union of Public Employees (www.dal.ca/content/dam/dalhousie/pdf/hr/Academic-Staff-Relations/CUPE_3912_Collective_

).

WORK ASSIGNMENT: The teaching assistant will be responsible for duties which may include: preparation of teaching material, in-class duties, marking, invigilation, and office duties.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Enrolment in a graduate program in relevant subject area or a graduate of a Health Promotion or Recreation program. Applicants must be familiar with the subject matter and have excellent communication skills. Previous instructional and marking experience would be an asset.
