Temporary closure of Edsell Castle Circle from October 29 to November 5

Posted by Facilities Management on October 25, 2012 in Facilities Management

Edsell Castle Circle will be closed temporarily in order to complete curb work along the north elevation of the Dalhousie Oceans Sciences Building (formerly known as the OEC) site. This closure is tentatively scheduled from October 29, 2012 until November 05, 2012 and the roadway will be blocked off using modular fence panels.

The north entrance into Oceanography will be accessible, the Biology loading dock will be maintained for deliveries from the Castine Way entrance, and the National Research Council (NRC) entrance and parking will not be affected. In the case of a fire emergency at the NRC, the temporary fence panels can be removed to allow fire truck access through the south side of the NRC.
