Part-Time Academic Posting

To teach PORT 1010.03 – Accelerated Basic Portuguese in the Winter term (T & R, 17:35-18:55 pm) – January 7 – April 8, 2013. The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation and evaluation. The position reports to the Chair of the department.

Precis:
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Minimum B.A. in Portuguese, plus at least five years language teaching experience required. Native or near-native fluency Portuguese and English required. Formal training in second-language acquisition and knowledge of Spanish desirable.
