Tigers Weekend Action (Sep. 16)

The Tigers were on the road Friday with the soccer teams travelling to Wolfville and hosting an exciting double header against Memorial Sunday.

Women’s Soccer

The women’s soccer team was in Wolfville Friday to take on the Acadia Axewomen. The women had a great performance with the lone goal coming from Elise Evans and assisted by Emilie Calabrese.

On Sunday the Tigers hosted an exciting battle at home against Memorial, picking up another point as they tied the Sea-Hawks. Dal led the way with seven shots to Memorial's two, but the Sea-Hawks defending kept the match at zero.

Men’s Soccer

The men’s soccer team cruised to victory on Friday in Wolfville against the Axemen. With a dominant 4-0 win from Dal, we saw goals from Mohamed Wahdan, Mohamed Tolba, Luke Berryman and Jared Ndopedro to secure the win.

Sunday, Dal hosted the Memorial Sea-Hawks. The Tigers had a great game outshooting the Sea-Hawks 11 to three but came up short loosing 1-0.

The soccer teams host STFX this Saturday at Wanderers Grounds for another exciting double header. You can purchse your tickets here with a special discount for faculty and staff!

Meanwhile, the cross-country team heads to Antigonish for the STFX invitational.
